Concept

This work explores depth and light through a composition that is structured and patiently constructed.
At its center, a deep blue sapphire evokes a nocturnal sky crossed by fleeting glimmers.
This piece embodies an author’s approach in which value lies not solely in gemological perfection, but also in the gesture, the time invested, and the sensitive reading of the material.

Natural Australian sapphire, untreated, pear cut
Diamonds, round brilliant cut

Structure

The stone was cut in a way that preserves fine needle-like inclusions crossing within it, subtly visible from the table at certain angles.
These geological traces, far from being concealed, become points of attention for those able to appreciate the singularity and authenticity of natural poetry.
The piece unfolds like a delicate architecture, where each element results from meticulous work.
Visible on the reverse, a hand-made ajouré openwork structure allows the stones to deliver their full brilliance.
